VI Infopoverty World Conference, 20-21 April 2006

     The VI Infopoverty World Conference was held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on 20 - 21 April 2006. Under the major  theme of Eradicate Poverty Creating Wealth: ICT at the Service of the MDGs, the following issues were discussed; (i) Public Private Partnership: Global Connectivity and E-Services for All (ii) The New Protagonists of the Global Challenge: Indigenous People and Local Community (iii) Millennium Development Goals and the ICTs: A New Approach towards Development to Create Prosperity for All (iv) Outcomes and Perspectives of 'VI Info Poverty World Conference.
