     The Regional Consultation on Migration, Remittances, and Development, in the Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) will take place from 27-28 July 2006, at the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) Headquarters, Capitan Eugenio de Marchena, 26 La Esperilla, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The Consultation will assess challenges and opportunities on the issue of migration and make recommendations from the perspective of the different stakeholders involved.
