Decision-Making: Coordinating Mechanisms
The key national sustainable development coordination mechanism in Iraq is the Planning Commission. Also involved in decision-making in this area are all Ministries and Government organizations, the Environment Protection and Improvement Council, the National Human Settlements Commission, the Regional and Rural Planning Centre - Academic, the General Federation of Iraqi Women, and the Iraqi Economists Society.
