16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM AGAINST GENDER VIOLENCE 2012 CAMPAIGN

UN Information Centre Accra participated in 3 days of events to commemorate this year’s 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence held in the Northern Region of Ghana. The events include: a National Durbar in Tamale (November 26), a visit to an outcast home (referred to as "witch camp") in Gnani (November 27), and a Youth Symposium at the Walewale Senior High School (November 28), all in the north of the country.
