Counter-Terrorism Implementation Task Force

Projects

CTITF aims to catalyze and mobilize counter-terrorism efforts of various UN system entities to assist Member States in implementing the United Nations Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy. The Global Strategy, adopted by the General Assembly on 8 September 2006, serves as a common platform, bringing the efforts of the United Nations system entities that work on counter-terrorism related issues into a common, coherent and more focused framework.  The Task Force has been supporting Member States in implementing the Strategy through different projects, collectively undertaken by its entities.
