  SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES

The United Nations has a long standing commitment to the environment. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has called on the Organization to move toward climate neutrality and toward more sustainable management of its operations. The Publishing Section has answered this call and is committed to leadership in sustainable publishing practices, from the design of its documentation to its printing operations to the use of technology. The UN publishing policy of sustainable practices is supported by a “Code of Ethics” which serves as the guiding foundation to all our efforts to ensure that we achieve a sustainable practice across all our publishing operations worldwide.
