In memoriam
Our UN Peacekeeping staff put their lives at risk working in places others can't or won't go. It is always with great sadness that we report the loss of lives of any of our colleagues.
We vow to honour their memory by upholding the highest principles of the Organization to which they gave their lives. Each year we dedicate the 29 May, the International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers, to these fallen staff.
