Guinea was placed on the PBC’s agenda on 23 February 2011, following a request from the Government of Guinea for the support of the PBC on three identified peacebuilding priorities: 1) the Promotion of national reconciliation and unity, particularly in pre and post electoral tensions; 2) the Security and Defence Sector Reform and 3) Youth and Women Employment Policy.
