Organizational Committee Members
The PBC Organizational Committee brings together 31 Member States, to establish the work agenda for the PBC, including the establishment of the medium-term calendar for the Commission’s wide-ranging activities, and development of Integrated Peacebuilding Strategies (IPBS). In the enabling resolutions establishing the Peacebuilding Commission, resolutions 60/180 and 1645 (2005) of 20 December 2005, the United Nations General Assembly and the Security Council decided that members of the Organizational Committee shall serve for renewable terms of two years, as applicable.

Brazil, Croatia, El Salvador, Kenya, Malaysia, Peru, South Africa
- Seven members selected by the Security Council
China, France, Guatemala, Morocco, Russian Federation, United Kingdom, United States
- Seven members elected by the Economic and Social Council
Bulgaria, Denmark, Domincan Republic, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Nepal, Tunisia
- Five top providers of military personnel and civilian police to United Nations missions
Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Nigeria, Pakistan
- Five of the top providers of assessed contributions to United Nations budgets and of voluntary contributions to the United Nations funds, programmes and agencies, including a standing peacebuilding fund
Canada, Japan, Norway, Spain, Sweden
- Participants in all meetings of the Peacebuilding Commission (in accordance with paragraph 9 of General Assembly resolution 60/180 and Security Council resolution 1645 (2005)): European Union, International Monetary Fund, Organization of Islamic Cooperation, World Bank
