The General Assembly, by its resolution 62/228, establishes the new system of administration of justice at the United Nations, including the strengthening of the Office of the United Nations Ombudsman by creating (a) a single, integrated and geographically decentralized Ombudsman structure that serves the Secretariat, UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF, UNOPS and UNHCR; (b) a Mediation Division to provide mediation services; and (c) regional offices.
