Readout of the President of the General Assembly’s meeting with H. E. Mr. Borut Pahor, President of Slovenia

The President of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. John Ashe, met today with H.E. Mr. Borut Pahor, President of Slovenia. They discussed the role of the President of the General Assembly during the sixty-eighth session, particularly in regard to setting the stage for the post-2015 development agenda.
President Pahor confirmed Slovenia’s commitment to be actively engaged in the work of the General Assembly and extended Slovenia’s full support to the President of the General Assembly and his agenda. President Ashe expressed his gratitude for this support and looked forward to Slovenia’s active participation in the high level events and thematic debates planned for the sixty-eighth session.
