Ms. Anya ThomasMs. Anya Thomas is an environment and sustainable development specialist, with over 16 years of developing country experience in environment and sustainable development issues, with a speciality in issues related to Small Island Developing States (SIDS).  She has spent her career working with Caribbean SIDS, providing institutional, policy and strategic support and advice in issues related inter alia to the implementation of Agenda 21, the Barbados Programme of Action, the Mauritius Strategy, and Multilateral Environmental Agreements. Ms. Thomas also has considerable experience in environment and sustainable development policy analysis and formulation. Coupled with this she brings skills in programme and project planning,design, monitoring and evaluation. Ms. Thomas has over a decade of experience in international environment and sustainable development negotiations and in consensus building. She has a masters degree in international environmental law from Newcastle University, United Kingdom. Ms. Thomas is a National of Trinidad & Tobago.
