Mr. Lliam Marco Findlay
Mr. Lliam Findlay has broad international and public policy experience gained during his time with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and the Australian Treasury. Prior to joining the Cabinet, Mr Findlay held a leading role within DFAT on trade policy development and implementation for Australia's 2014 G20 host year. His DFAT experience also includes driving international negotiation and policy cooperation (including capacity building) with APEC economies, on issues as varied as cross border education, women and development, and structural reform. During his time at the Australian Treasury, Mr Findlay worked as an India Analyst, forecasting and analyzing developments in the Indian economy and fostering economic cooperation between Australia and India. His Treasury experience also includes assisting in the development of high-level economic frameworks for: reform of Australia's higher education system; and indigenous policy. Mr Findlay has a masters degree in Diplomacy and Trade from Monash University, Australia. He is a national of Australia.
