Ms. Tala Dowlatshahi
Director of Communications
Ms. Tala Dowlatshahi is a seasoned strategic communications, partnerships and outreach expert with over ten years experience working with governments, the private and public sector, civil society and UN agencies. She began her career in the United Kingdom with Amnesty International where she served as an information liaison. From 2001-2007, Ms. Dowlatshahi worked as a communications advisor for UNDP and DPI in the Non-Governmental Organization section and as a Technical Officer for Advocacy, Communications and Resource Mobilization for the Family and Community Health Cluster at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. Most recently, Ms. Dowlatshahi held the position of Head of Communities at the Center for Security Studies for the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from the University of California at Berkeley and a Master's degree in International Development from New York University. Ms. Dowlatshahi is a national of the United States of America.
