President of the General Assembly meets with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Mauritius
The President of the General Assembly Mr. Vuk Jeremić met today with H.E. Mr. Arvin Boolell, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Mauritius.
The President presented his priorities for the 67th Session. They discussed the President’s initiative to set up a consultative mechanism between the General Assembly and the Group of 20 (G-20). The President noted the need to hold a high-level debate for that purpose.
They discussed the need to advance consensus on the issues of sustainable development, including follow-up to Rio+20.
