President of the General Assembly meets with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Republic of Sudan
The President of the General Assembly Mr. Vuk Jeremić met today with H.E. Mr. Ali Ahmed Karti, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sudan.
They discussed the recent developments in the relations between Sudan and South Sudan.
The President welcomed the agreements on security, a common border, and economic relations signed between Sudan and South Sudan. The President emphasised the need for further negotiations and peaceful resolution of the dispute between the countries.
