President of the General Assembly meets with the First Vice-President of the Republic of South Sudan
The President of the 67th Session of the General Assembly Mr. Vuk Jeremić met today with H.E. Mr. Riek Machar Teny Dhurgon, First Vice-President of the Republic of South Sudan.
The President of the General Assembly welcomed the agreements on security, a common border, and economic relations signed this morning between Sudan and South Sudan. He emphasised the need for further negotiations and peaceful resolution of the dispute between the countries.
