President of the General Assembly meets with the President of Mongolia (27 September)
The President of the General Assembly Mr. Vuk Jeremić met today with H.E. Mr. Elbegdorj Tsakhia, the President of Mongolia.
The President presented his priorities for the 67th Session, as well as the main theme of the presidency, “Bringing about adjustment or settlement of international disputes or situations by peaceful means.”
They discussed the President’s initiative to set up a consultative mechanism between the General Assembly and the Group of 20 (G-20).
They also discussed fight against corruption and promotion of human rights in the region.* * *
