President of the General Assembly meets with the President of Slovakia
The President of the General Assembly Mr. Vuk Jeremić met today with H.E. Mr. Ivan Gašparovič, the President of Slovakia.
The President presented his priorities for the 67th Session. They discussed the President’s initiative to set up a consultative mechanism between the General Assembly and the Group of 20 (G-20). The President announced his intention to hold a thematic debate for that purpose.
The President was invited to visit Slovakia during the celebrations for the 20th anniversary of Slovakia’s independence.* * *
