President of the General Assembly meets with the Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union
The President of the General Assembly Mr. Vuk Jeremić met today with Mr. Anders Johnsson, the Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
The President took note of the Joint UN-IPU Parliamentary Hearing scheduled for the 6-7 December in New York which will focus on the role of parliamentarians in conflict prevention. The President looks forward to cooperating with IPU in this regard.
