President of the General Assembly meets with the Prime Minister of Italy
The President of the General Assembly Mr. Vuk Jeremić met today with H.E. Mr. Mario Monti, the Prime Minister of Italy.
The President presented his priorities for the 67th Session. They discussed the President’s initiative to set up a consultative mechanism between the General Assembly and the Group of 20 (G-20). The President announced his intention to hold a thematic debate for that purpose.
They exchanged views on the economic situation in Europe.
