President of the General Assembly meets with the President of Gabon
The President of the General Assembly Mr. Vuk Jeremić met today with H.E. Mr. Ali Bongo Ondimba, the President of Gabon.
The President of the General Assembly presented his priorities for the 67th Session, as well as the main theme of the presidency, “Bringing about adjustment or settlement of international disputes or situations by peaceful means.”
They discussed the humanitarian situation in Sahel, and the recent developments in Mali.
The President expressed his willingness to devote additional energy to the issues of the African continent.
