President of the General Assembly meets with the Minister of International Relations of the Republic of South Africa
The President of the General Assembly Mr. Vuk Jeremić met today with H.E. Mr. Maite Nkoana Mashabane, Minister of International Relations of the Republic of South Africa.
The President presented his priorities for the 67th Session. They discussed the President’s initiative to set up a consultative mechanism between the General Assembly and the Group of 20 (G-20) and to organize a thematic debate for that purpose.
They discussed the relationships between Sudan and South Sudan, eradication of poverty, the post-2015 development agenda and the follow-up to Rio+20.
