President of the General Assembly meets with the Members of the Subcommittee on the United Nations of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament of the
Federal Republic of Germany
The President of the General Assembly Mr. Vuk Jeremić met today with the Members of the Subcommittee on the United Nations of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The President presented his priorities for the 67th Session. They discussed the President’s initiative to set up a consultative mechanism between the General Assembly and the Group of 20 (G-20).
They discussed the follow-up to Rio+20, and the post-2015 agenda.
They exchanged views on the developments in the Middle East, environmental issues, and the global economic situation.
