President Jeremić meets with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil
The President of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Vuk Jeremić, met with H.E. Mr. Antonio de Aguiar Patriota, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil.
They discussed the political and security implications of the recent nuclear testing conducted by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
President Jeremić thanked Minister Patriota for his country’s strong commitment to the work of the General Assembly. The President informed Minister Patriota of the beginning of the work of the Open Working Group on the Sustainable Development Goals. He then invited Brazil to take an active role in the coming thematic debates. The President and the Minister discussed a number of important regional issues and they concluded by discussing the interests of Brazil within the UN General Assembly.
President Jeremić invited Minister Patriota to attend upcoming thematic debates which will hold special interest to Brazil.
