Milan Trojanović

Mr. Milan Trojanović

Mr. Milan Trojanović was appointed to serve in the Cabinet of H.E. Mr. Vuk Jeremić, President of the 67th session of the UN General Assembly, as the Deputy Chef du Cabinet in August 2012. Most recently, Mr. Trojanović served as Chief Mission Support of UNSMIS in Syria (Mar to Aug 2012) and Executive Officer of DPKO and DFS (Feb 2011 to Mar 2012).

Mr. Trojanović is a permanent staff of the United Nations and has extensive experience in all areas of administration in Peacekeeping in the Field as well as in the Headquarters obtained during his service in UNRWA (Occupied Territories), FOD, UNHCR (Syria), MINURSO (Western Sahara), UNTAC (Cambodia), UNIFIL (Lebanon), UNAVEM III (Angola), ESCWA, UNAMI (Iraq) and UNDOF (Syria). Mr. Trojanović in his 25 years of UN service held the following positions: Refugee Affairs Officer, Administrative Officer, (Chief) Finance Officer, (Chief) Budget Officer, Chief General Support, Executive Officer and Chief Mission Support. He started his UN career in 1987 in UNRWA and then as a successful National Competitive Exam candidate joined the Secretariat in 1989. Educated in Tripoli, Belgrade and Beirut Mr. Trojanović holds a BBA degree from the American University of Beirut. He speaks English, French and Arabic.

Mr. Trojanović is married to Joyce Ayoub and they have three children, Radmilo aka Rayco (23), Ilija (22) and Natalija (19).
