THE PRESIDENT OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY

President of the General Assembly Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser meets
with H.E. Elbegdorj Tsakhia, the President of Mongolia

 

President of the General Assembly H.E. Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser held talks with H.E. Elbegdori Tsakhia, President of Mongolia. They discussed the main issues on the agenda of the 66th session of the General Assembly. President  Al-Nasser  highlighted the theme of mediation which he had chosen for the thematic debate during the 66th session of the General Assembly.

President of the General Assembly also held talks with H.E. Grigol Vashadze, the Foreign Minister of Georgia. President Al-Nasser outlined the four pillars on top of his agenda for the 66th session of the General Assembly. On his part, Foreign Minister Vashadze noted possible areas where the Government of  Georgia could assist in furthering the work of the United Nations.

Meets with H.E. Serzh Sargsyan , President of Armenia

The President of the General Assembly also met H.E. President Serzh Sargsyan, President of  Armenia.  President Al-Nasser highlighted the four priorities of his tenure:  Mediation, UN Reform, Enhancing Disaster Preparedness and Coordination and Sustainable Development.
