Please note that only scanned copies of notes verbales will be accepted by e-mail.

Member States that would like to participate as observers are requested to communicate, well in advance of the session, by note verbale of their Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, their intention to participate as observers, together with the composition of their delegation.

*The Economic and Social Council decided to further postpone the nomination of one member from Western European and other States for a term expiring on 31 December 2018 and one member from Latin American and Caribbean States for a term expiring on 31 December 2020 (see Economic and Social Council decision 2017/201 C and D, 2018/201 B and E as well as General Assembly decision 72/411 A and B).
