SPECIAL EVENT ON "PHILANTHROPY AND THE GLOBAL PUBLIC HEALTH AGENDA" -- 23 February 2009
LOGISTICS
The ECOSOC Special Event will take place on 23 February 2009, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the United Nations Headquarters, New York City.
REGISTRATION
Registration will start at 12:30 p.m. in the lobby of the General Assembly (GA) Building. Please come to the UN Visitors’ Entrance located on First Avenue at 46th Street ( View Map ). Non-UN participants will have to go through the “tent”. You will be required to check in suitcases and large carry-all bags. We apologize for this inconvenience but please allow enough time to go through this process.
Registrations tables will be located in the GA Lobby. UN grounds passes will be issued upon presentation of a valid photo identification. Participants are required to wear these passes at all times while in the UN premises. (Please note that the United Nations secretariat will only issue passes to those who have confirmed participation by sending in their registration form prior to the meeting.) The Plenary session of the Second Special Event on Philanthropy will be held in the Trusteeship Council Chamber, located on the Second Floor of the General Assembly Building. Ushers will be designated to direct participants.
