Panel discussion
The dialogue was held in the form of a panel discussion. The Panel, which was moderated by Mr. Sha Zukang, Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations, focused on current developments in the world economy and international economic cooperation.
The panelists were Dr. Supachai Panitchpakdi, Secretary-General of UNCTAD; Mr. Pascal Lamy, Director-General, World Trade Organization (WTO); Mr. Murilo Portugal , Deputy Managing Director, International Monetary Fund; and Mr. François Bourguinon, Senior Vice President, Chief Economist, World Bank.
