A. 2014 Annual Ministerial Review (AMR) theme
The AMR is a function of the ECOSOC, and the Committee addresses AMR topic as a contribution to the deliberations at the high-level segment of the ECOSOC. The 2014 AMR theme is “Addressing ongoing and emerging challenges for meeting the Millennium Development Goals in 2015 and for sustaining development gains in the future.” The Committee will analyze how current rules and global governance structures promote effective responses to international problems and a fair distribution of development opportunities among countries.-

B. Review of the LDC criteria
The Committee is responsible for undertaking the triennial review of the list of LDCs. In preparation of the 2015 triennial review of the list of LDCs, the Committee will review and fine tune current methodological approaches and criteria used to classify countries as LDCs.-

C. Country groupings and classifications

B. Research volume on Alternative development strategy in the post-2015 era (CDP volume 1)
This book reflects the outcome of a research programme by CDP members on the necessary definition of an alternative international development strategy for more equitable and sustainable progress for all. The analysis is based on a critical evaluation of past experience, taking into consideration the challenges brought about by the multiple and inter-related economic, food and environmental crises, as well as the damaging effects of inequality.-
