Working Meetings were held on 20-22 December 2012 in Managua, Nicaragua. They were jointly organized by UNDP’s Country Office in Nicaragua, the Nicaraguan Government represented by the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (MHCP), and UN-DESA.

During the mission DPAD:

• Met with high-level policy makers and UNDP staff to brief them on progress of the project, future collaboration and next steps;
• Examined and processed available data during sessions with MHCP staff;
• Informed the national technical team on progress of the project and next steps, and discussed the functioning of the macro-micro modelling framework using examples of various policy simulations run through the newly developed ISIM-MAMS interface.
