On 13-15 December 2011 DPAD in partnership with the UNDP’s Country Office in Bolivia and the Bolivian Government represented by Unidad de Análisis de Políticas Sociales y Económicas (UDAPE) organized a series of working meetings of the Capacity Development Project “Strengthening Macroeconomic and Social Policy Coherence through Integrated Macro-Micro Modelling” in La Paz, Bolivia.
During the mission DPAD:
- Met with high-level policy makers and UNDP staff to brief them on progress of the project, future collaboration and next steps;
- Examined and processed available data during sessions with UDAPE staff;
- Informed the national technical team on progress of the project and next steps, and discussed the functioning of the macro-micro modelling framework using examples of various policy simulations run through the newly developed ISIM-MAMS interface.
