In the past 5-10 years, the rapid development of websites and social media platforms has fundamentally changed our reading habits. Therefore, we decided to give DESA News a facelift, to integrate our newsletter with new communication tools. To better fit your needs when revamping our newsletter DESA News, we want to hear your ideas. Share them here in our 3-minutes survey

“We want to create a conversation with our readers, to answer their questions, to nourish their curiosity and to involve them in current topics that matter for global development,” says Guenther Gross, Chief of the Communication Section in UN DESA’s Strategic Planning and Communications Services. “Providing timely and relevant information on UN DESA’s activities will ensure a better understanding of the work of the UN at all levels,” he adds.

DESA News is the monthly online newsletter of UN DESA. It highlights the work of the department, promoting economic, social and sustainable development. Distributed worldwide to over 125,000 subscribers, it remains one of the main outreach channels of the department.

It is therefore essential for the editorial team behind the newsletter, to learn more about the needs and habits of its readership. With this goal in mind, the department’s Communication Section has prepared a short survey to be taken by our readers. Your answers will help us improve our content and layout, to better fit your needs.
