New African Lakes Atlas

The dramatic and damaging environmental changes sweeping Africa’s lakes are brought into sharp focus in a new atlas launched at World Lake Conference, which took place in Nairobi from 31 October - 4 November.



UNCCD COP 7 which also comprised the seventh session of the Committee on Science and Technology (CST 7) and the Fourth Session of the Committee for the Review of the Implementation of the Convention (CRIC 4) of UNCCD was held in Nairobi, Kenya, from 17 to 28 October.
