Only pre-registered participants will be permitted to enter UNESCO Headquarters during the 61st Annual DPI/NGO Conference. Walk-ins will not be allowed.
Registration Instructions
The Conference is open to representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) associated with the United Nations Department of Public Information (DPI), those in consultative status with the United Nations through the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and those working with UNESCO and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR).
A maximum of three (3) individuals may be registered per organization. Organizations that register at least one (1) person under 30 years of age will be allowed one (1) additional representative.
The deadline for registration is 1 August 2008. No registration requests will be accepted after this date.

Begin your registration by retrieving your password and login; continue by following the instructions on each subsequent page.
- Once you have completed the registration, you can print confirmation
letters for your participants. Please click on the "Confirmation Letter"
button under the name of each individual.

You will be linked to a Conference Registration Form which you need to fill out and return to the e-mail address provided at the bottom of the form.

A confirmation letter will be sent to you via e-mail upon receipt of this form.
Registration in Paris
Upon arrival at UNESCO Headquarters, you will be required to present your confirmation letter, together with the ID indicated in the letter, in order to participate in the Conference. You will be issued a grounds pass, which must be worn visibly for the duration of the Conference. Note: NGO representatives who are already in possession of a United Nations or UNESCO grounds pass must still register for the Conference.
