Registration
The Conference is open to representatives of
Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) associated with the United
Nations Department of Public Information (DPI) and those in
consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social
Council (ECOSOC).
A maximum of five (5) individuals may be registered
per organsation. However, organisations that register at least
one (1) person between the ages of 18 and 28 will be allowed
to register one (1) additional representative.
The deadline for registration is 31 August
2007 and there will not be any exceptions.
Registration for NGOs associated with
DPI
The registration for the Conference is online.
There are no paper forms to fill out.
To register, you may go directly to the registration

and click on the "Conference Registration" link.
Please start your NGOs registration by retrieving
your password and login at

Registration for NGOs in consultative
status with ECOSOC
To register, please fill out the Registration
Form and e-mail back to voelkers@un.org.
Once your form has been received, you will be
provided with a login and password, which you will need to complete
your registration for the Conference.
Note: NGO representatives who
are already in possession of a United Nations grounds pass must
still register for the Conference.

Wednesday, 5 September 7:15 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Thursday, 6 September 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Friday, 7 September 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
You may also register prior to the Conference, as follows:

Tuesday, 4 September 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Conference Reception
If you would like to attend the Conference Reception
on Wednesday, 5 September 2007, please fill out the Reception
Registration Form and send it by mail, along with
your check or money order, drawn on a US Bank and made payable
to the NGO/DPI Executive Committee:

Note: United Nations security regulations
are being strictly enforced. Please be aware of the following
security measures:
- DPI/NGO Section cannot assist NGO representatives in obtaining
U.S. visas. We are also unable to fax confirmation letters
to U.S. Embassies.
- Arrangements for travel, visas and accommodations, as well
as all expenses incurred, must be entirely provided by the
participants or their sponsoring organisation.
- NGO representatives cannot bring bulk packages of information
materials or personal luggage into United Nations Headquarters.
