About Briefings

The DPI/NGO Section holds weekly briefings on topics relevant to the United Nations and associated NGOs. Briefings are held every Thursday in the Dag Hammarskjöld Library Auditorium from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.

The briefings are divided into two parts: a video screening and a panel discussion. Videos relevant to the theme of the briefing are usually screened at 10:00 a.m. on the morning of the briefing. Panel discussions typically feature three speakers: a UN representative, a government representative and an NGO representative.
