                SCALE OF ASSESSMENTS FOR THE APPORTIONMENT OF THE
                        EXPENSES OF THE UNITED NATIONS

             Letter dated 25 June 1997 from the Secretary-General
                   to the President of the General Assembly


     Further to my letter dated 23 June 1997 (A/S-19/20), I have the
honour to inform you that Seychelles has made the necessary payment to
reduce its arrears below the amount specified in Article 19 of the
Charter.
