1.   This document has  been prepared in accordance  with the recommendation
of the  Special  Committee on  the  Rationalization  of the  Procedures  and
Organization of the General  Assembly, as set forth  in paragraph 17  (a) of
annex II to Assembly resolution 2837 (XXVI) of 17 December 1971.

2.   The  following documents  relating to  the  agenda  of the  fifty-first
session  of the General  Assembly    The agenda of  the fiftieth session has
been issued as document  A/50/251 and Add.1-3.  The list of resolutions  and
decisions  adopted during  the fiftieth  session  will  be issued  under the
