                 ADOPTION OF THE REPORT OF THE COMMISSION ON
                           ITS FORTY-FIRST SESSION


1.   At the 16th meeting, on 21 March 1997, the Rapporteur introduced the
report of the Commission on its forty-first session (E/CN.6/1997/L.2 and
Add.1-4) and orally corrected it.

2.   At the same meeting, the Commission adopted the draft report, as
orally corrected, and entrusted the Rapporteur with its completion.
