FUNDING FOR TRAVEL OF NON-CSD MEMBER, DEVELOPING COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVES TO
PARTICIPATE IN IPF SESSION
The United Nations pays the travel via the most economical route, but not
for subsistence expenses, for CSD members to participate in sessions of the
Intergovernmental Panel on Forests. However, the IPF, through generous
contributions to its trust fund, can also fund developing country participants
who are not members of the CSD. Representatives should submit the travel request
to the address below. The United Nations will grant the requests for one
participant per country on a first come first serve basis. Communications should
state that the travel request relates to the special account under the Trust Fund
in Support of IPF for Non-CSD Member, Developing Country Travel to Session of the
IPF. The same entitlements will be applied as those for CSD - members.
