ECOSOC 2004 High-Level Policy Dialogue

The High-Level Policy Dialogue with the Heads of International Financial and Trade Institutions will be held on 28 June morning on current issues in the world economy with a focus this year on "Resources mobilization for the implementation of the Programme of Action for the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) for the Decade 2001-2010". ECOSOC will address this theme from a broad development perspective. It will be an occasion to exchange views on the global economic situation and its impact on development, notably the realization of the Millennium Development Goals in LDCs.
