PEACE IS WHAT WE NEED. I still cannot forget the misery, The Hiroshima, Nagasaki History, For which I have a lot of story, Pain, Sorrow and Worry, Since I was in the Elementary. Under our desks we were lying, With our fingers over our mouths and eyes we were hiding, Air-raid drills we were Practising, T' was almost impossible to do our studying. 9Th August 1945 the air-raid alarm sounded, Helter-skelter to the air-raid shelter we fled, My infant cousin on my back strapped, Machine gun fire all over being sprayed, Leaving us unconscious and burned. Sight of people with tongues torn out, Sight of people with bellies ripped open, Intestines hanging out, To collapse I was about, As the thought kept haunting me throughout, As the stench of burned flesh and spilled blood rented the air with a shout. Peace is what we need my friends, We must spend all our time to defend. Peaceful living is what I Recommend, Because it is what we need, If we want our problems to end.
