Below is one of the contest entries.
You’re here with me right now: Waking up from the wreck outside All you see in here is the glass, shattered It hurts so much to see everyone gone but you Every farm, homes, and buildings are trapped in the fire Feeling hatred grow inside everyone around you... There are so many people trapped, but you’re running away from them... until your last breath finally takes over You see white flashes all over the place There are so many atomic bombs You’re being taken to an air-raid center for safety You have no freedom Not much food, no clean water It’s crowded and stinky, and you need to keep quiet or they’ll notice you You’re here with me now and you’re already seeing everything with me, What would you wish for?
