Below is one of the contest entries.

1945 Beware

1945, Japan
Unaware of a LOUD BOOM
Danger in sight,
Frightened and scared by the darkness
Hearts beating before death
The explosion was horrifying
Families are destroyed, ruined, and hurt
Emotions flew through the air
Those who died are to be remembered
September 21st
