THE CHOICE AT THE CROSS ROAD There came a time When a man had no dime Wallowing through the prime Cities; he finds nothing but crime "As you go away Promise to hug no trouble Your choice is always double," My old man had his say "As you join this gang, Promise to tell no ear. Do this or you are hung," The felons made me swear There are two vows now Both to make me thrive But I end my life At once, should I break the felons vow Peace costs no fee Crime, you've got to flee
