Study on Defensive Security Concepts and Policies
The publication contains the report of the Group of Governmental Experts to Undertake a Study of Defensive Security Concepts and Policies, which held three sessions in 1991 and 1992. The study examines current trends in the international security environment and discusses the substance and main features of defensive security concepts and policies. It also includes an analysis of political and military-technological aspects that may hinder the implementation of a defensive orientation in military capabilities. The study concludes by recommending undertakings that might help to create a condition in which defensive security prevails.
