Convening of the fourth special session of the General Assembly devoted to disarmament

The General Assembly:

(a) Takes note of the report of the Open-ended Working Group to consider the objectives and agenda, including the possible establishment of the preparatory committee, for the fourth special session of the General Assembly devoted to disarmament and of requests made for Member States to continue consultations in this regard;

(b) Decides to include in the provisional agenda of its fifty-ninth session the sub-item entitled "Convening of the fourth special session of the General Assembly devoted to disarmament".
