  1. Asia's population future - implications for family and the elderly

    Objectives: The objective of the proje ct is to support the role of the family and to promote complementary community based services (CBS) with the active involvement of the elderly, in the context of evolving demographic and development dynamics.

  2. Strenthening policy analysis and research on female migration, employment, family formation and poverty in Cambodia, Lao Peoples Democratic Republic., Myanmar and Viet Nam

    Objective: The objective of the project is for the four participating countries to formulate policies that promote the active participation of women in development on a non-discriminatory basis.

  3. Strenthening performance monitoring and evaluation systems for measuring the progress of reproductive health and family planning (RH/FP) programmes.

    Objective: The objective of the project is to strenthen existing monitoring and evaluation systems for measuring the progress of national reproductive health and family planning (RH/FP) programmes, including the quality of services and to improve and institutionalize the monitoring and evaluation systems necessary for effective and better programme performance and management.

  4. Government-NGO cooperation for strengthening population policies and programmes

    Objective: The objective of the project is to contribute to poverty alleviation efforts in selected developing countries of the region through the implementation of more appropriate population policies.
